CM–LIFE–05 • case study
Sandra’s List.
A phone-first shared grocery list built for Sandra and me—small, immediate and useful every week.
01 / The problem
A tiny domestic problem is still a real product problem.
We needed one shared list that remained current across two phones, was easy to update while moving around a shop and did not require a complicated account or planning ritual.
02 / The build
One room, one live list, very little friction.
Items sync in real time inside a room-scoped list. The interface is designed for quick adding, checking off and changing items, with a natural-language input for the untidy way people actually remember shopping.
03 / The detail
The best feature is that we kept using it.
- Phone-first controls and generous tap targets.
- Add to Home Screen behaviour for app-like access.
- Room-based sharing without exposing the list publicly.
- A deliberately calm interface for a repetitive task.
04 / Privacy choice
The live household room is not the public demo.
This page explains the product without publishing our real grocery data or room link. A clean demonstration room can be added later if it makes the project more useful to visitors.
